Mattresses and slatted frames are available for different lying areas. You might think that the more, the better. But that's not the case. The best models have five to seven lying zones. That is enough for optimal lying support.
With the slats, the number is different than with the lying zones. The more slats, the more stable the electric slatted frame. If such a grate only has 20 slats, an electric slatted grate is inexpensive, the best ones have up to 44 spring slats.
Resilience is an important factor when purchasing. Not only the slatted frame has to carry the load, the motor has to deliver the necessary performance. Therefore, always pay attention to the maximum load capacity of the electric slatted frame.
A bed frame must be high enough to hold the slatted frame and mattress well. The height of the slatted frame can therefore be an important factor when buying it.
An electric slatted frame works with electricity. If you have set the head and foot end very high and the power goes out, you may not be able to free yourself from the bed trap so easily. That is why there is an emergency lowering for emergencies. It can usually be operated with a lever on the side and the grate lowers.
