What does a water-saving shower head do?
Everyone knows that showering uses less water than a full bath. After all, conventional shower heads save a maximum of 50% of the water of a full bathtub.
Just like electricity, gas and oil, water is becoming more and more expensive. On average, every citizen consumes 127 liters of it a day. The least is used for drinking, it is about the Washing machine, kitchen sink, dishwasher, or sprinkler consumed.
There are three bills for every liter of drinking water consumed, no matter what the water is used for. An invoice is made up of the amount of drinking water used, the same amount of wastewater and the same amount for the sewer discharge fee. One liter of shower water can thus be found in three calculations. If that's not a reason to save water?
A water-saving shower saving head is by no means complicated. The interior of the shower head has special filters. These mix the water flowing through with up to 50% air and thereby reduce the flow rate. This is hardly noticed when showering and the shower experience is not diminished.
